Showroom Assistant

 

If you love design and have an eye for home decor, we would love for you to join our team.  We are a furniture and home decor store that hosts a Saturday sale one time a month.  

 

Showroom Assistant Job Responsibilities:

Sale Day - 

  • Working in the showroom welcoming customers

  • Operating a register, scanner, cash drawer

  • Answering customer’s questions, helping them locate items and providing advice or recommendations 

 

Days leading up to the sale - 

  • Unboxing merchandise, tagging & staging

  • Assist in getting the showroom staged and ready for sale day

  • Taking photos of new merchandise for social media use

  • Helping us improve processes and establish structure along the way.

 

Work Hours:

  • This is a part-time position and will be required to work one Saturday a month.  The Saturday work schedule will be 7:00am to 2:30pm.

  • The week prior to our sale we will be flexible as we will be prepping the showroom getting it ready for the following Saturday.

 

Showroom Assistant Qualifications / Skills:

  • Skills to create unique displays for merchandise

  • Have  an eye for design and staging furniture

  • Detail Oriented

  • Dependable

 

Compensation:

  •  Position starts at $20.00 per hour

Warehouse Associate

 

We are furniture and home decor store that hosts a Saturday sale one time a month.

 

Warehouse Associate Job Responsibilities:

  • Unloading product, supplies, etc from trailers into warehouse

  • Unboxing, assembling furniture and setting up on showroom floor

  • Assisting customers & delivery company with loading furniture into their vehicles

  • Maintaining an organized back dock area

 

Work Hours:

  • This is a part-time position and will be required to work one Saturday a month.  The Saturday work schedule will be 7:30am to 2:30pm.

  • The week prior to the sale and two weeks after the sale we will be flexible based on delivery schedules and customer pickups.

 

Warehouse Associate Qualifications / Skills:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • Able to repeatedly lift 50lbs.

  • Ability to bend, stand, walk for prolonged period

  • Able to follow directions and work safely

  • Able to work in a non-air-conditioned environment

  • Dependable

 

Compensation:

  •  Position starts at $20.00 per hour
